The  Marine Base is inside Pozzallo Port, an important Oil & Gas port of Sicily, located in the center of the Mediterranean to serve all the incoming offshore projects.

It comprises a covered area of approx 10.000 sq.m for internal and external, anticorrosion, thermal insulation and concrete weight coating and an open storage area of 150.000 sq.m for double joint fabrication.

Socotherm Americas owns a multipurpose pipe coating plant in Escobar covering an area of approx 20 hectares including 20,000 sq.m. of buildings, oand two pipe coating plants inside the Tenaris Pipe Mills of Valentin Alsina (Siat).
SOCOTHERM AMERICAS owns also a down hole pipe coating plant applying both powder and liquid paint under Tuboscope licence.

The pipe coating plant has a three layer polyolefin production capacity of over 4.000.000 sq.m/year.

Socotherm LaBarge is the new JV between Socotherm USA and La Barge Pipe & Steel Co., one of the main steel pipes and fittings distributors of the States.

The new Marine Base located in Channelview (Houston) comprises a new plant able to supply thermal insulation system (WETISOKOTE®) to serve the new Deep Water developments in the Gulf of Mexico and also 3-layer polyolefin external anticorrosion coatings (PLASTYKOTE®) on pipes up to 48-inch diameter.
